Description
The Mitsubishi L300 4x4 is a versatile and compact van, also known as the Delica, that is popular for its off-road capabilities, due to its rugged chassis, and its ability to be converted for camping. It comes with a 2.4-litre engine and a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. While older models are susceptible to rust, newer ones are sought after for overlanding and van life conversions.
Modifications on this car
I purchased this van primarily to move furniture and tow furniture trailers when I owned my furniture manufacturing business. I did take it off-road several times and it was surprisingly capable off-road over some rough NZ farm tracks and riverbeds. Plenty of clearance. Not that exciting to drive on the road, but it served its purpose well. It looked great with its mag wheels. It was very reliable and over the 4 years I owned it it never required any repairs.
