Description
The Nissan Pathfinder is a range of sport utility vehicles manufactured by Nissan since 1985. Until the third-generation model, the Pathfinder is based on Nissan's compact pickup truck platform which it shares with the Navara/Frontier. The second generation Pathfinder was introduced in late 1995 with revised styling.
Modifications on this car
I purchased this vehicle to tow large furniture trailers for my business. I remember the car was only a week old when I took it off-roading with some friends in the Ureweras. I was very conscious of the body kit and how low it was at the front, but I managed not to hit anything, and the car performed perfectly off-road. It was never fun to drive, but it was comfortable, predictable, and, as I mentioned, very good at towing. The body kit was installed from new by Nissan and copied the Nissan Regulus that Nissan sold in Japan as part of its JDM line. Sadly, it had to be returned to the dealer when I closed my business.
