Description
The "MKV Cortina V6" refers to the Ford Cortina Mk5 model equipped with the 2.3-liter Essex V6 engine, which was the highest-spec engine option for this car. It was known for being the best-performing engine in the Cortina range, available in higher trim levels like GL and Ghia, and was often combined with an "S" (sports) pack option.

Modifications on this car
A sporty Cortina for its day. It had a smooth engine that felt quite torquey compared to the four-cylinder Cortinas I had driven before. I didn’t carry out any modifications to this car. It was reliable while I owned it — I don’t remember anything significant happening, nor do I remember it as a particularly great car to drive. I guess that probably sums up the Fords of the day.
